Arshad Warsi born on 19 April 1968 in a muslim family in Mumbai. His original surname was “Khan” and his father name was Ashiq Hussain Khan, but after his father became a follower of a holy man-Warsi Pak, his family became known as “Warsi”. He got eduction in Barnes School & Junior College, Deolali, Nashik, Maharashtra. Because of financial problem he left school after 10th standard. At the age of 17 years, he started work as door-to-door cosmetic salesman. When he was only 18 years old his father died because of bone cancer and after tow year his mother also died because of kidney failure. After lost his parents he developed his life on his owned and brought himself up. After developed interest in dancing he offered to join Akbar Sami’s Dance group. He won the title of “Indian Dance Compitition” in 1991, he become a choreographer and then he started his own Dance Academy named “Awesome”.

Before started the acting in bollywood, he also worked in photo lab. Arshad also associated with English theater group. He was judge in this group. Because of this group he got opportunity to choreograph the song of bollywoood movie “Roop Ki Rani Choron Ka Raja” in the year 1993. In that movie Anil Kapoor and Sridevi were in lead role. During the time of choreographing the title track of this movie Jaya Bachchan was offerd him to play role in “Tere Mere Sapne”.

Finally he debut as a lead actor in “Tere Mere Sapne” in 1996. Movie was success in box office only because of him. After that he played role in many movie like Betaabi (1997), Hero Hindustani (1998), Hogi Pyaar Ki Jeet (1999), Trishakti (1999), Ghaath (2001), Muje Meri Biwi Se Bachaao (2001) and Jaani Dushman: Ek Anokhi Kahani (2002) but most of movies failed in box office.

In 2003 Rajkumar Hirani offered the role in his comedy movie Munnabhia M.B.B.S. Arshd played the rold of ‘Circuit’ and Sanjay Dutt as Munnabhai. This movie got huge success in box office. After that he also played same role in movie Lage Raho Munnabhai. Next he played a role of comedian man in Hulchal movie, after that he did many success movie like Kuchh Meetha Ho Jaye, Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya?, Salam Namaste, thriller film Chocolate and Vaah! Life Ho Toh Aisi!

In 2006 Rohit Shetty offered him to Golmaal: Fun Unlimited movie, which was the first part of Golmaal series. In every part of Golmaal Arshad played a role, movie name Golmaal Return, Golmaal-3 and Golmaal Again. He also did the Dhamaal and Total Dhamaal movies which were successfull movies in bollywood.

Arshad met his girlfried and future wife Maria Goretti at the Malhar Festival where Arshd was the judge and Maria was a participant. Later Arshad offered Maria to join his Dance Academy and asfter sometime she became lead dancer and became personal assistant of Arshad Warsi. Later they loved each other and got married on 14the February 1999. They have two childs one son and one daughter.
