Varun was born on 24 April 1987 in bollywood famous Dhawan family. His father name is David Dhawan, who is a film director, and his mother name is Karuna Dhawan. He has one elder brother name Rohit, and he is also a film director, while his uncle Anil is an actor.
He completed his HSC education from the H.R. College of Commerce and Economics. Varun Dhawan complete Business Management degree from the Nottingham Trent University, United Kingdom.
Finally Varun Dhawan debut in bollywood industry as a Lead actor in his first bollywood movie directed by Karan Johar name “Student Of The Year” with co-actor Siddharth Malhotra and actress Alia Bhatt. He played role of Rohan Nanda, the teenage son of a rich businessman, who competes with his girlfriend (played by Bhatt) and best friend (played by Malhotra) to win an annual school championship.
In 2014 Varun Dhawan appered in two films, first is “Main Tera Hero”, a remake of telugu movie Kandireega, which was produced by Balaji Motion Pictures and directed by his father. In this movie he played role of Sreenath “Seenu” Prasad, an impetuous brat who is involved in a love triangle between Ileana D’Cruz and Nargis Fakhri.
Second flim his “Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania” with Co-starring Alia Bhatt and Siddharth Shukla. After this movie Varun Dhawan signed 11 movie and his last movie was Street Dancer 3D.
In movie “Dilwale”, he worked with bollywood super hit jodi Shahrukh Khan and Kajol and co-starring kriti sanon. After movie ABCD-2 and Street Dancer 3D, he was known as Best Dancer in bollywood. His next comedy films will Coolie No.1, with co-starring Sara Ali Khan. Now he is know as highest paid actor in bollywood industry.
